In the 2020 project for Boomerang & Gram, a newly opened gastropub and nightclub, I served as the primary point of contact with the client and led a team of two designers based in Taiwan. When the client had no clear vision for the brand's visual identity, we utilized brand elements to create a mood board using Figma. We then held cross-regional meetings to help the client understand and appreciate the styles suitable for Boomerang & Gram, ultimately reaching a consensus.



For the design proposals, each of the three designers created their concepts, and the client selected one to develop further. The final logo used my proposal, which incorporated the unique selling points of Boomerang & Gram as a modern gastropub and nightclub. The logo combined the letters “B” and “G” in a mirrored layout to highlight the day and night theme.


In terms of color, I chose a sunset palette to represent the day and night theme. For Boomerang, the restaurant, I used forest green to symbolize the elegance and natural quality of the food. For Gram, the nightclub, I used vibrant lights to represent music and youthful energy.
